China's lunar space lab simulator opens to the public

Liu Hong, the chief designer of Lunar Palace 1, explains to visitors how the Bio-regenerative Life Support System works in the simulated space lab at Beihang University in Beijing on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Four volunteers spent 200 days in the lab in the second phase of the year-long experiment. They emerged from the lab in January after setting a world record for the longest stay in a self-contained closed ecosystem.
