Heron struggling to swallow a fish too big

A heron catches a fish and then struggles to swallow its meal. The bird flipped its dinner about in its beak for five minutes before finally managing to get it down. This scene was captured by photographer Richard Shepard in the Viera Wetlands, Florida moments after it speared the 12-inch-long Nile tilapia using its long beak.
