In the Name of Justice: Bullfight in Angola Prison
Established in 1880, Angola Prison occupies an area equivalent to New York's Manhattan District. There are 6,000 inmates here, most of them sentenced to death or life imprisonment. Four out of five of the inmates are African-American.
Each weekend in October, the prison will host a bullfight, and the prisoners are to be the bullfighters. Members of the public can pay 20 U.S. dollars to watch the spectacle.
